Club / Open Play (Courts 9 through 12)
Effective April 29th our Pickleball Club members will have additional open style play offered all day long on courts 9 through 12 on the north side –– Club Rated Play and Open Play. The Club Calendar and Chelsea court sheets will show all of the options available daily. OR you can download a printable schedule showing the daily activity.
CLUB RATED PLAY
Mixed, Men's and Women's Play options will be available daily Monday through Saturday. And both Intermediate Mixed and Advanced Mixed Play will be available in later afternoon and evenings on weekdays. For those players that participate in tournaments or league play, you have a rating and will know whether you should be playing in the intermediate or advanced groups. For those players not sure, please refer to the club ratings information.
When you arrive at the courts, join into a group by placing your paddle on the court you would like to play (9 being the lower level, 12 being the highest level).
OPEN PLAY –– ALL LEVELS OF PLAY
Open play is available to all residents that want to meet and play with a variety of different players and levels of play. Times are offered daily on the north side courts and Tuesday/Thursday on the south side courts for your convenience.
BEGINNERS OPEN PLAY
The club recognizes that Beginners need a place to play and learn. That is why we are implementing two programs specifically to help beginners (new players to the game), become comfortable with the overall game, scoring and court positioning before moving into Open Play or Club Rated Play.
Weekly we will provide a supervised round robin on courts 3 and 4 to hone your skills, AND we will also offer Meet and Mentor during Open Play on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9am ––10am. You will be partnered with an advanced player and play against another team with a beginner and an advanced player. It's your opportunity to learn along side of some great players who will help you understand the game. No reservation is necessary, you just show up and we will pair you up! This will start on April 30th!
